More Healthy and Fun Snacks for Kids....

This mermaid snack is made from string cheese (for the hair), banana (for the head and body), and dried apricots and dried cranberries or raisins for the face and the outfit on the mermaid! So cute, I know my girls would love this!

This snack will definitely have to be made in our house very soon, my girls love the Lorax.  The Lorax character is made from cheese and bread. The trees are made from string cheese, apples or cucumbers, apricots, and bread crust.  The link below has a lot of Lorax inspired snacks for kids!

Fun and Healthy Snacks for Kids

Now that the kids are home for summer break it's sometimes hard to keep snacks healthy and fun! Here is a snack idea that is both!

All you need is some pipe cleaners, glue, clothespins, googly eyes, markers, ziploc bags, grapes and goldfish crackers.  Have your kids decorate the clothespins with markers and glue googly eyes on... then have them add the pipe cleaners to make antennas... clip the clothespin in the middle of the ziploc bag and fill half with grapes and half with goldfish crackers.  Fun and healthy butterfly snacks!

Introduction of New Admin

Hello Lil Britches Western Wear Fans...
My name is Christina Sisk and I am the new Admin for Lil Britches Western Wear.  I am a stay at home mom of a beautiful 9 month old little girl and the step mom to a beautiful seven year old girl!  I currently reside in Fort Sill, Oklahoma and my husband is serving in the U.S. Army!  I am looking forward to getting to know all of you and running this blog for Lil Britches Western Wear.  I enjoy spending time with my girls and being involved in all their activities, shopping, crafting and decorating, working out with my husband, and getting to travel and see my family. My daughters are involved in pageants and modeling and will soon be involved in dance and gymnastics. I was born and raised in Illinois and have also lived in California and Kentucky. As I said before, I am really looking forward to getting to know all of you and am so excited for this opportunity!
